I got this tattoo in April of 2011 and i’m still in love with it. The middle orchid is a cover up, and the other two orchids and buds were added on. The original tattoo was a single orchid at the base of my neck. I got it covered because i wasn’t in love with it. It was done my a very traditional tattoo artist, and it looked cartoonish to me. I was looking for a more realistic look… Something more natural. Also, realizing i could withstand the pain, i wanted to go bigger.
